Athleticism / Martial Arts
Videos and pictures below.
From a very early age JP trained daily in a martial art called Capoeira that some consider the most physically demanding martial art in the world. It is best described by a non-Brazilian as gymnastics with powerful kicks, elbows and dodging. JP would have taken gymnastics if I hadn't discovered Capoeira. For 5 years he trained 5 days a week... taking 2 to 3 classes a day. He has been training for 9 years now.
The main reason JP trained in Capoeira was to not only build his hand/eye & foot/eye coordination... but his spacial coordination and most importantly... his athleticism.
I can't even put into words what Capoeira has done for JP athletically.
Huge props to Marcus DaSilva aka Master Mangueira!
